The voestalpine Group is a leading European processing group with its own steelmaking facilities and headquarter in Austria. The five divisions all occupy top positions in the respective markets:

 

  • The Steel Division: production and processing of steel
  • The Railway Systems Division: global market-leader for special tracks and switches
  • The Automotive Division: systems supplier for the automotive industry
  • The Profilform Division: leading position in tubes and profiles
  • The Special Steel Division: Stainless steel and steel grade

 
The Group has more than 41,500 employees worldwide and attained a revenue of EUR 10,5 billion in the financial year 2007/08. The voestalpine Group has production and sales locations in 40 countries and the export share is 88%. voestalpine AG has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since 1995.

The “3 Banken Gruppe” consists of:

 

  • BKS (Bank für Kärnten und Steiermark AG), the regional bank for Carinthia and Styria
  • Oberbank AG
  • BTV (Bank für Tirol und Vorarlberg AG), the regional bank for Tyrol and Vorarlberg

 


The association maintains 198 business sites in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy and has approximately 3,300 employees, a balance sheet total of approx. EUR 24 billion and is also listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
