Dipl.-Ing. Peter Angermayer  - Managing Director

As a graduate from the Applied Physics programme at the University of Linz, Peter Angermayer started his career in technical customer service (in the field of metallurgic applications engineering) at voestalpine Stahl GmbH for the automotive industry. One of his main tasks was the realization of customer requests in production engineering.

In 1994, Peter Angermayer became responsible for creating and supervising the management system for quality, environmental issues and labour safety, where he obtained positive certifications and approvals for the group companies. Two years later, he also managed and coordinated the IT quality monitoring system linking various plants.

Since 2001, Peter Angermayer has been responsible for the investment business of Danube Equity. Due to his broad technical expertise, he enjoys excellent contacts in the automotive, household appliances, metallurgy and automation industries, and to various industrial service providers. Mag. Arno Langwieser - Managing Director

Arno Langwieser studied Commercial Science at the University of Business Administration in Vienna. He started his career in 1990 at “AMandA Beteiligungsberatung GmbH” (today’s “Erste Bank Corporate Finance”) in Vienna as a corporate consultant in the field of mergers & acquisitions. In 1992, he went to work in the Frankfurt office of the company and was promoted to a management position. His main tasks consisted of handling corporate acquisitions, sales and strategic alliances.

In 1996, he changed to Wienerberger Baustoffindustrie AG as head of the Corporate Development Department. From 1998 to 2000 Arno Langwieser was a member of the management team of the Wienerberger Group.

Since 2001 he has worked as Managing Director for Danube Equity. He has extensive expertise from a broad range of projects in strategic and organisational development and acquisitions in Europe and the US, as well as excellent contacts on the international level.

Mag.  Horst Silberbauer - Investment Controlling

Horst Silberbauer has been part of the Danube Equity Team since 2008, and in this function he supports the portfolio companies in their reporting, works on due diligence tests as well as the assessment of new portfolio companies.

Horst Silberbauer graduated from TGM (mechanical engineering) and from Vienna University for Economics and Business Administration. He has eight  years experience in the Venture Financing of  technology companies. Moreover he was responsible for  the corporate finance department and in charge of company evaluations, due diligence reviews, M&A transactions and pre-flotation at KPMG.

In his last position he was a Senior Expert Controller at Kapsch CarrierCom AG. He holds a degreee as a Certified European Finance  Analyst (CEFA). 
 

Mag. Jane Falkner - Management Assistant

Following her graduation from Commercial College she studied Business Administration at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Her specification was corporate foundations and development. During her studies she was able to gain a lot of work experience.

She has been with Danube Equity since 2008, where she is responsible for marketing and organisational matters. Additionally, she supports the portfolio companies in their market, competition, patent and technology research.
